What we collect
When you apply for membership, we collect the information you submit directly through the application form — name, email, phone (optional), your tier interest, and any notes you provide. We do not collect payment information on this site; membership is by application, and no purchase is made here. If you accept analytics cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, we also collect standard web analytics (pages viewed, referrer, general location, device type) through the tools named under Analytics below; nothing loads until you accept, and declining does not affect your ability to browse the library or apply for membership.
How we use it
Application information is used to review your membership application, communicate with you about that application and, if approved, about your membership, and — where relevant — to coordinate a referral to an independent, licensed medical provider for bloodwork and clinical care (see Medical Disclaimer). We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use application information for advertising targeting.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site and process applications:
- Vercel — hosts this website and the application-processing service.
- Neon — hosts the database where submitted applications are stored.
- Resend — delivers the email notification generated when you submit an application.
- If your application is approved and you choose to proceed with an independent medical partner for bloodwork or a prescribing consultation, we share only the information necessary to make that introduction (typically name, email, and phone), and only with your knowledge that the referral is being made. That provider’s own privacy policy governs any information you share with them directly.
We do not otherwise sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain application records for as long as reasonably necessary to review your application, administer any resulting membership, and meet our own recordkeeping and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Contact) unless we are required to retain it for a legitimate business or legal reason.
Your rights and choices
You may ask us, at any time, to tell you what information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete your information, by emailing us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or, if applicable, the EU/UK GDPR; we will honor valid requests made under those laws to the extent they apply to you.
Analytics
If enabled, this site may use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and/or Meta Pixel — each only after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and collect information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and device/browser type. You can decline analytics at any time; declining does not affect your ability to browse this site or apply for membership. We do not currently run paid advertising campaigns using data collected from this site.
Children’s privacy
This site and its membership are intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold (which does not include payment card data or clinical/medical records) to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
